Peer Mediators: Peer Mediators were trained by Fresno State staff this past week. They will be rolling out in many new support roles helping students throughout the day. Mrs. McComas and Mrs. Freitas are the advisors for Peer Mediators.

Accelerated Reader: Congratulations all students who worked diligently to meet their Accelerated Reader quiz goal for the first quarter. You are right on track! Over 130 students are meeting or exceeding their goal. Principal Story Hour in November will be Wednesday, November 9th from 6-8 PM. Look for the flyer next week!

Personal Best: Continuing from last year, students who receive students of character recognition either through student of the quarter, Character Counts(!) postcards, or through special recognition at school for unusual acts of service will also receive a ‘dog tag’ with the pillar exemplar on the tag. I am extremely proud of the many accomplishments of our students. Our Personal Best incentive will be next Friday, November 4th. Please look at the calendar for the times of the events.
